Overview
Imagine creating a system designed for cross-functional breakthrough and a system that blends the Strategic with the Operational and the Financial. Imagine you can learn to manage this system without having to create it in isolation. Imagine having a qualified, trained professional come along side who is committed to supporting your team through this change process. Imagine coming together for three days to allow for honest dialogue about all the issues -- the good, bad and the ugly -- that you and your team face daily. Imagine coming away with the beginnings of a solid operational plan and an empowered team to complete the process.
Is it really possible to do this? Yes, but there are a few important conditions.
First, you must be committed to learn a new system of managing your enterprise--a system designed for cross-functional breakthrough and a system that blends the Strategic (planning for tomorrow) with the Operational (managing the realities of today) and the Financial (all of it must be funded).
Second, you must be committed to gather all of the key leadership voices in your organization for three uninterrupted days. If you are, then together we experience a process -- a time-tested process -- that leads to breakthrough discovery and thinking which produces a customized strategic-operating plan that you and your team own. These first three days lay a foundation to create detailed, measureable action initiative plans. Within forty-five days, you will have clarified your vision and direction, created a plan to get there, and installed the plan into your organization. I stay involved with you and your team for as long as you want me to and to insure that you learn how to manage your plan. This typically takes 3-4 months and no more than 6 months, for you to be self-reliant.
What Do I Do?
- I facilitate a three-day process in which we use a variety of customized tools to gain perspective on your organization and to create a customized core plan for your organization.
- I instruct you and your team over the following 3-4 weeks to lead newly created cross-functional teams to develop first draft action plans for all the action initiatives identified in our three-day meeting.
- I return approximately one month later for a two-day process of meeting with each cross-functional team to review their work, to "scrub" it (looking for comprehensiveness, sequential thinking, realistic timelines, and budget-alignment), and to prepare you and your leadership team to launch and install your new plan.
- I help you create your "Plan-On-A-Page" and underlying "Playbook" and coach you over the following months through your monthly and quarterly plan reviews. My goal is to help you become self-sufficient in a new way of managing and measuring the progress of your plan. It typically takes 2-3 months for this hand-off.
- Depending on your structure, I work with you to restructure your organization and then to help you learn how to read the signs of change and embed renewal in your leadership team's thinking and leadership.

In fact, I strive for the opposite—to equip you and give you the tools for a new system of managing the whole of your organization).
